The Engineer will be responsible for the hands-on maintenance of building systems for the safe, efficient, and proper operations of all assigned properties. This role will perform minor repairs and help in the operation, monitoring, and performance of the building. The Engineer is responsible for responding to tenant work orders and assist in the upkeep and operation of all building systems.
Respond to tenant work orders and make necessary repairs.
Respond to emergency situations following building protocols.
Provide preventative maintenance duties related to building components.
Day to day maintenance, repairs, and work order related tasks.
Keep updated records of maintenance tasks.
Provide high level of customer service to tenants.
Ability to lift and move 75 lbs by applying proper body mechanics.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
A high school diploma is required.
Associates degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Engineering experience with Class A commercial office buildings.
Professional designation and licenses a plus.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel and Outlook) preferred.
Understanding of local and state building codes and regulations.
Must possess ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Must work well with others and interact positively with customers.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented and well organized.
Must have the ability to manage time and multiple projects efficiently and achieve the required results.
