The Senior Facilities Maintenance Technician is a member of the Global Real Estate & Workplace Solutions team providing maintenance services at various Fiserv buildings for the benefit of internal associates. The Sr. Facilities Maintenance Technician maintains, (or supervises outsourced technicians who) repair, improve or otherwise operate equipment, structures, buildings or grounds by performing designated tasks or complicated routines involving installation, repair, painting, building, electrification, plumbing, glazing, moving, reconfiguration and maintenance of buildings, grounds, furniture, equipment and other site facilities and equipment. Position is responsible for performing all duties in a safe and workman-like manner and may be called upon to oversee the activities of others.
The Global Real Estate & Workplace Solutions Department is responsible for the leasing, space planning and repairs and maintenance of approximately 120 buildings, both domestic and international.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and simple diagnostics, installation and repairs on building equipment/systems including, but not limited to: MEP, HVAC, furniture, life safety and grounds. Maintains, services, and tests all fire alarm, water detection and emergency response systems. Respond to building emergencies. Performs after-hours maintenance and repair activities as required. Produces and maintains service and preventative maintenance documentation for critical building systems: power distribution, backup generation / UPS, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing / water conditioning and life safety systems. Maintains all tools and equipment in good working condition. In-depth knowledge on safety procedures and requirements Maintains accurate inventory of all building maintenance equipment and adequate/appropriate supplies. Installs, maintains, reconfigures and inventories case goods, millwork, and systems furniture. Supports office/workstation assignments and office moves with associates and other support teams. Provide primary backup and support to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications: ?Associates Degree or equivalent trade school graduate in in mechanical, electrical or plumbing trades; strong preference for electrical ?Previous experience providing maintenance support in a corporate business environment or similar work environment ?Experience with critical systems environment, data center or server room infrastructure, process and procedures development ?Experience reconfiguring Steelcase or other furniture systems. ?Applications: Archibus, CMMS, OSHA Training
Job Related Experience:
?3 - 5 years progressive building maintenance experience ?Significant experience with maintaining and operate HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairs; ?Experience with electrical concepts and critical systems, such as UPS, ATS, systems and Generators ?Customer-focused; quickly establishes oneself as an approachable and valuable facilities resource with excellent problem solving skills ?Provide direction and oversight of outsourced vendor activities/technicians ?Team oriented technician to achieve departmental goals and mission for high availability ?Strong BAS/BMS building controls and automation desired ?Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically with MOP, and SOP forms, maintain detailed and accurate reports
?Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. ?Must be able to climb a 6’ ladder ?Possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record ?Must be flexible to work periodic weekends and overtime as directed Travel Required:
